UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 14, 2017. Two new workout sites opened in Yekaterinburg’s Zheleznodorozhny District thanks to two charity funds: Obschestvo Malysheva 73 and the Anton Shipulin Foundation.

According to Obschestvo Malysheva 73’s press service, the workout site in Sem Klyuchey Park was opened in the course of a special solemn ceremony, and then the other one in a small park in Pekhotintsev St got an opening ceremony as well. Both sites are located in green areas, but no tree or plant was damaged during the construction process.

The Olympics champion in biathlon Anton Shipulin, Obschestvo Malysheva 73 Dobrye Dela Charity Foundation’s founding member Igor Zavodovsky, the district council officials all took part in the symbolic red ribbon-cutting ceremony.

‘No trees were removed. I really like this way of doing things: the workout site is not too big and located in a small park near one’s home and is fitted with all the sports appliances needed. These are quite popular parks with plenty of visitors, so we are sure the sites will be made great use of. This is wonderful, and many more such sites are needed,’ Zavodovsky said.
