4 September 2017 (13:04)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 4, 2017. The average asking price currently comes to 66,301 RUR per m2 on Yekaterinburg existing home market, which is 2.6% less than at the start of the year and 13.6% less than in February 2015, Ural Real Estate Chamber’s analytical report states.

The market supply keeps gradually going down (-2.9% in the last four weeks and -2.1% compared with the start of the year). So far, the change hasn’t had any significant impact on the overall market balance. Even though there are under 10,000 apartments on offer in the chamber’s database at the moment, customers still have plenty of choices, both in terms of housing quality and location.

Prices went down most noticeably for the city’s remotest locations in the last four weeks (-2.4%), with the average asking price at 46,487 RUR per m2. Centrally located apartments can be had for 93,354 RUR per m2 (-1.7%), those in the city’s fourth priciest districts for 55,177 RUR per m2 (-0.5%). Prices remained mostly the same in the city’s second and third most expensive locations in the last four weeks.
