Yekaterinburg Existing Home Prices Drop 2.7%

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 13, 2016. The average asking price comes to 68,819 RUR per m2 on Yekaterinburg existing home market at the moment, down 0.5% against four weeks earlier and down 2.7% against the start of the year, Ural Real Estate Chamber reports.

Prices declined most noticeably for centrally located apartments, where the price of a square meter declined by 2.5% in the last four weeks and currently comes to 93,744 RUR. Homes in the second priciest locations did not grow any cheaper (73,713 RUR per m2), while those in the third most expensive districts grew 0.5% to 0.7% less expensive, down to 63,640 RUR per m2. Apartments located in Yekaterinburg’s fourth most expensive districts are now 1.1% less expensive, down to 58,676 RUR per m2. Finally, prices in the remotest parts of the city declined by 0.5% to 0.7% and currently come to 50,367 RUR per m2 on average.
