UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 3, 2017. ChTPZ Group is currently upgrading its OCTG production facilities, the company press service reports.
The project will require 200m RUR worth of investments; as a result, the Group’s OCTG/premium threaded joint output will double through the use of upgraded equipment.
‘The upgrades include launching new constricted-end pipe units and threaded joint treatment units, a new shot-blasting machine for polishing the inside surfaces of the pipes, a coupling copper-coating unit, and a coupling-making unit. The entire project will have been completed by April 2018,’ the press service says.
‘This investment project will mean ChTPZ Group can improve its produce quality and to make more hi tech goods. So the company will keep making more pipe with premium threaded joints for customer operating complicated wells,’ says the Group’s Technical Director Kirill Nikitin.
