MMK Directs 102 m RUR to Charity

UrBC, Magnitogorsk, August 3, 2017. Metallurg Charity Fund (sponsored by Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works/MMK) spent 101.77m RUR on a multi-faceted children’s charity program called The 21st Century for Southern Urals’ Kids, MMK Information & PR Department reports.

The project got approved of by experts on The Best for Children, the national program for promotion of the best children’s goods and services, in 2008, 2010, 2012, and 2014. The project was also given a special honorary badge.

The project aims to support social welfare establishments such as children’s clubs and art schools, to help families interested in having more children, to offer maternity and child welfare services, to support families with many children, and to sponsor state-owned, special-needs live-in schools and children’s clinics in Magnitogorsk and nearby villages.
