UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 16, 2017. EVRAZ Holding’s Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Works (NTMK) can now make a new product type, namely, crane rails KR 100. The first 300,000 kg of those have already been delivered to customers, the holding’s press service reports.
‘KR 100 rails are made from K76F steel whose chemical composition makes it possible to produce rolled metal goods with BHN in the 280 to 305 range. The rails are meant for crane runways used at industrial enterprises and construction sites,’ the press service says.
This year, the plant’s rail-making department is also planning to start making crane rails KR 80 and three different types of U-bars.
EVRAZ NTMK also manufactures crane rails KR 70 and KR 120 that all meet the GOST R 53866-2010 standards.
