UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 18, 2017. EVRAZ Holding’s Raspadskaya Mine has produced 1,000,000,000 kg of coal this year so far, EVRAZ Holding Siberia’s Corporate Relations Center reports.

This is 19% better than one year previously, and as much as 25% better in terms of overburden operations.

‘Our mining team has been keeping up with their last year’s production and overburden operations tempo. To make sure everything runs efficiently and safely, the company is now upgrading its mining and transportation equipment on a large scale. Thanks to clever production process planning the mine’s output has been rising, with virtually no emergency downtimes. Our produce enjoys stable market demand,’ says Raspadskaya Coal Company’s Director-General Sergei Stepanov.

Since the start of the year, the company has already invested in two excavators and four 90-ton Komatsu dumpers, a Komatsu bulldozer, and three 130-ton BelAZ trucks.
