UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 10, 2016. Albert Yamaliyev’s mining team from Alardinskaya Mine and Vasiliy Pasichinsky’s team from Raspadskaya Mine have each produced 1,000,000,000 kg of coal since the start of the year, EVRAZ Holding reports.

This is, in fact, not the first time such a production record has been set this year, as miners from Yerunakovskaya 8 Mine (the asset of EVRAZ Holding’s Raspadskaya Coal Company) produced 1,000,000,000 kg of coal in May.

As is the custom, the company management coordinated a round of congratulations for the miners when they came out of the mine. Two stones of coal with ‘1,000,000,000’ written on them were presented to Raspadskaya Coal Company’s Director-General Sergei Stepanov, who thanked the miners for their productive performance and wished them new records at work.

‘These meetings with Albert Yamaliyev’s and Vasiliy Pasichinsky’s teams have by now become habitual: the miners’ output proves very impressive (2,000,000,000 kg of coal and more) every year. The most important thing is that they manage to avoid accidents. Emergency-free production process, highly skilled workers, and low prime cost are the three points the company’s performance are based on,’ Stepanov said.
