EVRAZ Holding’s Alardinskaya Miners Make 2,000,000,000kg of Coal

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 22, 2016. Albert Yamaliyev’s team of miners from EVRAZ Holding’s Raspadskaya Coal Company’s Alardinskaya Mine has produced 2,000,000,000kg of coal at Coal Mining Section 1 (section head: Valeriy Kuznetsov; mechanic: Victor Volodin) since the start of the year, EVRAZ Holding Siberia’s press service reports.
‘There is some shortage of met coal on both the national and the global markets at the moment. To make sure the metallurgical industry’s needs are met, we need to maintain stable, productive, and emergency-free work performance. Alardinskaya miners do very well and produce millions of tons of coal safely,’ says Raspadskaya Coal Company’s Director-General Sergei Stepanov.
Albert Yamaliev’s team produced 2,000,000,000kg of valuable KS coal from Long-face 3-40 and Long-face 3-39, where the work started in the second quarter of the year. The team achieved peak production results in February, when 225,000,000kg of coal were made in the course of one month.
