22 November 2016 (13:45)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 22, 2016. Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s head plant keeps testing EO 41211A, its new crawler-mounted excavator, the company press service reports.

The standard tests (500 hours of real-life conditions performance) are meant to help assess the need for structural or manufacturing process adjustments that could improve the product’s technological parameters.

‘Ural Vagon Zavod’s excavator has already passed the first testing stage successfully by excavating clay material from a mine. The vehicle is now used at a construction site in Nizhniy Tagil, extracting some sticky materials such as clay, sand, and construction waste. The next, most difficult, test will come when the machine will have to dig into the frozen ground at thirty degrees centigrade below zero. All the trial runs are expected to get completed in January 2017,’ the press service says.
