Yekaterinburg Existing Home Prices Go Down Again

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 13, 2016. Prices on Yekaterinburg existing home market dropped by 0.5% (down to 68,243 RUR per m2 on average) in the last four weeks, Ural Real Estate Chamber reports.
It is reported that the price decrease stopped for a while in July and August, but the downward trend was there again in mid-September.
Average asking price dropped by 0.4% for centrally located apartments in September and thus came to 96,618 RUR per m2. The next priciest apartments near the centrally located ones grew 0.2% less expensive (down to 73,081 RUR per m2).
Prices in the city’s third and fourth most expensive districts declined by 0.5% (down to 62,931 RUR per m2) and 0.4% (down to 57,448 RUR per m2), respectively.
Existing homes in Yekaterinburg’s remotest and least expensive locations on the outskirts can now be had for 48,419 RUR per m2 (-1.8% against four weeks earlier).
