UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 23, 2016. Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s Chelyabinsk-based UBT-Ural Vagon Zavod is busy with its workers’ continuous professional development.
According to the company press service, the plant employees are now looking into normative acts relating to the corporation’s purchasing transactions and getting trained in conducting a purchasing policy that will benefit the corporation’s member enterprises the most. A part of the workshop will be spent on Q&A and networking as well.
At the core of the plant’s continuous professional development program is the idea that such workshops should be conducted on a regular basis as new legislative acts get adopted all the time.
‘Our training sessions involve employees of Chelyabinsk Region-based Traktorozavodsky Technopark, and UBT-Ekologiya whose job responsibilities involve purchasing transactions. This means that workers from all of our member enterprises get an understanding of our unified purchasing norms and regulations and that we can use a single document format throughout the corporation. This, in its turn, ensures a more efficient documentation quality control and a better understanding of the member enterprises’ goals and needs,’ the company press service says.
