UrBC, Yekaterinburg, February 29, 2016. Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s head plant in Nizhniy Tagil hosted a workshop on newly adopted labor legislation and professional standards of personnel management for the company’s HR managers, the company press service reports.
The workshop at the plant’s Personnel Training Center was attended by personnel managers from Plant 9, Uralcryomash, Electromachine, Kamensk Uralsky Foundry Plant, Ural Transport Machine-Building Design Office, and other member enterprises. A civil and labor law expert from 21st Century Ural Cadre Training Institute was invited to coach the session.
‘Our managers could get answers to vital questions such as what professional standards consist in, how to interpret educational prerequisites demanded of workers, how personnel management is going to change once professional standards have been introduced for employees, and many others. Workshop participants also ruminated on what a tomorrow’s professional’s profile should look like: this is someone with a college degree and several different qualifications as well as some completed continuous professional education courses,’ the company press service says.
