Ural Vagon Zavod to Buy More from SMEs

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 28, 2016. MSP Corporation (a state-run organization for the development of SMEs) and Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation signed a cooperation agreement. The two parties intend to work together to give small and medium enterprises more involvement in the corporation’s purchasing policy, the company press service reports.
UVZ Corporation’s Director-General Oleg Sienko signed the paper on Ural Vagon Zavod’s behalf and Corporation MSP’s Director-General Alexander Braverman signed the paper on behalf of his organization.
The idea is to advise SMEs on Ural Vagon Zavod’s purchasing practices and inform small and medium businesses about the company’s corporate quality management system, the range of products the company currently needs or will need in the future, and its target short-term and long-term purchase figures.
The two parties will work together to select certified and dependable suppliers for Ural Vagon Zavod from among available SMEs to increase the share of goods bought from smaller businesses in the company’s annual purchase output.
