19 August 2016 (14:21)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 19, 2016. Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s Omsktransmash adopted a new collective agreement that will control the defense enterprise’s social and labor relations in the next three years, the corporation’s press service reports.
The collective agreement is a local normative act aimed at improving the workers’ social welfare and legal guarantees as stated in the existing labor laws. The paper was signed by Omsktransmash management and Transmash OBORONPROF Trade Union on behalf of the plant’s staff and came into effect this month.
Given the recent legislative changes and adoption of a number of new local normative acts, quite a few changes had to be made to the previous version of the paper. These mainly had to do with the social benefits package. For one, the annual allowances for single mothers and families with three or more children were increased by three times, while incidental allowances for newlyweds and new parents as well as for those who come back to the plant after having served their army term were also raised a bit.
