Yekaterinburg: New Emergency Room in Akademichesky

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 18, 2016. Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuivashev asked the constituency’s Health Ministry to work on the documentation needed to set up an emergency room in Yekaterinburg’s Akademichesky District, UrBC reporter says.
‘This is something that needs to be done immediately,’ the Governor said at Sverdlovsk Region Government meeting on August 17.
Kuivashev also pointed to the need to purchase the buildings needed for children’s and adults’ clinics in the area.
Head of Yekaterinburg Council Alexander Yakob said the emergency room would require 50 to 60m RUR to set up, and another 28m RUR will be needed for the clinics.
According to Yakob, there are currently 40,000 people living in Akademichesky.
