‘This is something that needs to be done immediately,’ the Governor said at Sverdlovsk Region Government meeting on August 17.

Kuivashev also pointed to the need to purchase the buildings needed for children’s and adults’ clinics in the area.

Head of Yekaterinburg Council Alexander Yakob said the emergency room would require 50 to 60m RUR to set up, and another 28m RUR will be needed for the clinics.

According to Yakob, there are currently 40,000 people living in Akademichesky.
