EVRAZ NTMK Workers Prove Sverdlovsk Region’s Best Engineers

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 14, 2016. The Yefim and Miron Cherepanov Prize awarding ceremony took place at the Innoprom 2016 International Industrial Exhibition in Yekaterinburg.
This year, EVRAZ NTMK Deputy Technical Director for Repairs Sergey Druzhinin and EVRAZ NTMK Head of Coke & By-Product Processing Central Lab Denis Koksharov were among the awardees.
According to EVRAZ Holding’s press service, Denis Koksharov has worked at the plant for seventeen years now. He started out as a gas-plant attendant at the coke-making department and has been head of the central lab for the last five years. Koksharov is the co-author of a patented invention and ten improvement proposals as well as the author of twenty-one research papers. He underwent EVRAZ New Leaders professional development training at Skolkovo Business School in Moscow and is a certified EVRAZ Expert.
Sergei Druzhinin is in charge of repairs and maintenance of the plant’s equipment; his team contributed greatly to energy-saving, reduction of the plant’s energy resources needs, and making its power equipment more reliable. Druzhinin has co-published a number of research papers and textbooks on energy management at a metallurgical enterprise. He was awarded Sverdlovsk Region Government’s and Russia’s Industry & Trade Ministry’s honorary certificates.
