Ural Vagon Zavod to Make SP Mount in India

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 13, 2016. Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation signed two new agreements at the Innoprom 2016 Exhibition, the company press service reports.
For one, a memorandum on technical cooperation between the company and its Indian partners (part of the Make in India Program) and on the promotion of the company’s products in India was signed by Ural Vagon Zavod Director-General Oleg Sienko and Kalyani Group’s Amit Kalyani. Russia’s Industry & Trade Minister Denis Manturov and India’s Minister of State for the Ministry of Commerce & Industry Nirmala Sitharaman were present during the ceremony.
Under the terms of this agreement, the Indian company will serve as production site for a jointly developed product, a self-propelled artillery unit.
