UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 9, 2017. Albert Yamaliyev’s team at Alardinskaya Mine’s Section 1 has produced 1,000,000,000 kg of coal since the start of the year, EVRAZ Holding Siberia’s Corporate Relations Center reports.

Alardinskaya’s miners are EVRAZ Raspadskaya Coal Company’s second team to reach the important output figure this year. Vassily Pasichinsky’s team from Raspadskaya Mine was the first one to set this year’s production record.

‘As is our custom, the company’s top managers congratulated the miners on the ground. A symbolic piece of coal with an inscription ‘1,000,000,000’ on it was given to Raspadskaya Coal Company’s Director-General Sergey Stepanov, who thanked the miners for their safe and productive performance and wished them even more work achievements. Albert Yamaliyev’s team is one of the best at Raspadskaya Coal Company with a ‘billionaire’ reputation,’ the Center says.

‘This year’s first 1,000,000,000 kg of coal were extracted from long-face 3-39 that was started upon in late July 2016. To ensure the miners’ safety, the place gets ventilated all the time, with methane mixtures removed with the help of a gas-suction unit. The mine is fitted with highly productive equipment such as KSW-1140NZ combined vehicle and Glinik-2247 unit. The equipment’s capacity is estimated at 240,000,000 kg of coal a month.
