ChTPZ Undergoes IMS Audit

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 11, 2016. Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant/ChTPZ had its integrated management system audited for compliance with the international standards, the company press service reports.
SAI Global’s auditors inspected five weldless pipe production and electric-welded large-diameter pipe production departments as well as a number of ancillary departments. Subject to inspection were all the production aspects to do with environmental impact, industrial and job safety, and product quality. The auditors gave a very high estimate to ChPTZ technological processes and White Metallurgy production system and commented favorably on the up-to-date production standards, work ethics, and product quality.
It was confirmed that the company IMS system meets the ISO 9001:2008 standard, its professional job safety and security management system meets the OHSAS 18001:2007 standard, and its environmental management system meets the ISO 14001:2004 standard.
