PNTZ Meets ISO Quality Standards

27 December 2016 (14:21)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 27, 2016. TÜV Rheinland auditors looked into ChTPZ Group’s Pervouralsk New Plant (PNTZ) quality management system and stated it meets the ISO 9001-2008 and GOST ISO 9001-2011 standards, the Group’s press service reports. The company is now officially a dependable and qualified supplier.

Auditors inspected the plant’s production departments, including the OCTG finishing center and pipe-rolling, pipe-drawing, and electric smelting shops. They also studied the technical documentation and the state and effectiveness of the produce quality management system. In the end, TÜV Rheinland auditors found the plant’s quality management system, the condition of production departments and equipment, and the workers’ skills good enough to qualify for compliance with the ISO 9001-2008 and GOST ISO 9001-2011 standards.

‘Meeting the national and international standards is key to the Group’s White Metallurgy Production System. An ISO certificate means we can now enter new markets and build up our share of existing ones. This is also an important proviso for negotiating with partners, banks, and investors,’ says PNTZ Managing Director Alexei Dronov.

The plant was first issued an ISO 9001 certificate in 2002. The document ensures the plant’s produce meets the highest quality standards.
