ChelPipe Group’s Plants Get Re-Certified

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 26, 2019. ChelPipe Group’s member enterprises Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant (ChelPipe) and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ) got re-certified once again and proved their compliance with the international quality management, environmental safety, job safety, and industrial safety standards.
According to the Group’s press service, SAI Global auditors looked into all the business processes at Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant and confirmed that these processes all meet the quality management standard ISO 9001, the environmental management standard ISO 14001, and the job safety and industrial safety management standard ISO 45001; the latter sets forth stricter job safety and industrial safety regulations and is a new version of the OHSAS 18001 standard, for which ChelPipe got certified earlier.
Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant also got audited and re-certified for compliance with the quality management standard ISO 9001 by auditors from the international concern TÜV Rheinland. The experts inspected the company’s core production departments and commented specifically on the white-coated metallurgists’ efforts to improve the plant’s quality management system.
