UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 10, 2016. Electromachine (a member enterprise of Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation) has adopted a special-purpose and civilian goods development program for 2016-2025 for the first time, the company press service reports.
According to the company’s internal statute, the civilian-/military-purpose goods ratio is expected to reach 50/50 by the time the program has been completed.
This long-term program was developed in accordance with Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s requirements, says Electromachine Marketing & PR Director Yana Kipriyanova. The company will keep on focusing on special-purpose products as its current core business while investing heavily in the development of civilian goods at the same time.
‘The company’s designer and technician teams are currently concentrating on completing our promising military developments such as Armata, Boomerang, and Koalitsiya, which are all under the Russian Federation Government’s control. They are also working on some other products. We expect our sales, including those of civilian goods, to increase dramatically by 2025,’ Kipriyanova said.
