Ural Vagon Zavod DG Comes to Nizhniy Tagil

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 20, 2017. Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s Director-General Alexander Potapov coordinated his first meetings with subordinates during his visits to the corporation’s Nizhniy Tagil-based member enterprises, the company press service reports.

For one, Potapov paid a visit to Ural Vagon Zavod’s head plant’s key departments such as the Railcar Assembly, the Metallurgical, and the Mechanical Assembly ones.

‘The head plant currently has plenty of orders for both civilian and military-purpose goods to work on. We keep focusing on the defense procurement requirements as part of our key development strategy in full compliance with our contractual obligations. The company also implements its social benefits program in full,’ the DG said at the end of his visit.

The DG also went to Uralcryomash, where he was shown a new, promising development: KTzM 40/07, a tank container for transportation of liquefied natural gas, created with the help of dual-purpose technologies. Uralcryomash is a widely acknowledged manufacturer of filling units for the space industry. The new container will be presented at Ural Vagon Zavod’s stand at TransRussia 2017 this April.
