UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 2, 2016. The canteen at Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s head plant reopened after an overhaul and remodeling, the company press service says.

The reconstruction involved all of the food-making departments (the hot- and cold-meal shops, the meat shop, and the vegetable and pastry ones) as well as the storage rooms and washrooms. The food court was also renovated.

All the sinks and cookers were replaced, new, modern equipment was installed, and a new service counter was added. The food court now has panoramic windows and fits as many as eighty people at a time.

The company invested around ten new equipment units, including a vegetable blender, electric cookers, baking ovens, and a convection steamer that can be used for making up to 70% of all the hot-cooked meals, which thus retain all the necessary nutrients.
