Ural Vagon Zavod funds 5,000 workers’ vacations

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 3, 2015. Every year, Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s head plant funds its workers and their families’ stays at health resorts and sanatoriums as part of its CSR projects. This year, for example, 5,257 workers and their children will have used this offer by the end of the year, the company press service reports.
The main goal is to prevent occupational illnesses in workers employed at hazardous production departments. This year, 1,400 such employees were sent to Pine Mountains Resort, 186 people went to Ust-Kachka Resort, and 274 people went to Malachite Resort. The company covers 100% of the stay’s cost.
The rest of the employees had their costs partially covered by the company and went to Ust-Kachka and Demidovo, Perm Territory, Belokurikha, Altai Territory, and Mitino, Kirov Region. 807 people stayed at these health resorts this year altogether. Additionally, 693 people (including families with children) went to Alushta, a seaside resort in the Black Sea. 170 workers had their stay at Pine Mountains Resort partially covered by the company.
