RAE 2015 results in military-themed tourist cluster agreement

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 11, 2015. An agreement to set up a military cluster in Nizhniy Tagil was signed during the RAE 2015 Exhibition. The paper was signed by Head of Rostourism Oleg Safonov, Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s Director-General Oleg Sienko, Nizhniy Tagil Metal Testing Insitute’s DG Nikolai Smirnov, Mayor of Nizhniy Tagil Sergei Nosov, and Managing Director of National Tourist Union Valeriy Kaigorodov.
Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s press service reports Oleg Safonov said Nizhniy Tagil had great potential in terms of military and patriotic education of the youth, so the agreement would boost the development of the town’s military-themed tourist cluster. Oleg Sienko stressed he was positive this would be a popular thing.
Rostelekom’s Vice President and Director for the Urals Anton Kolpakov and Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s Executive Director Vladimir Roshchupkin also signed a memorandum on strategic partnership between the two companies. The goal is to keep on developing their mutually beneficial cooperation which first started in 2009. For one, the two parties intend to work together on the industrial Internet development, technological data accumulation and processing, and industrial automation technologies.
