August 27, 2015. Governor of Chelyabinsk Region Boris Dubrovsky paid a visit to Eterno, ChTPZ Group’s and Rosnano’s new joint venture meant for making stamp-welded pipeline parts. The plant is expected to create over 400 jobs and become a new taxpayer in the constituency, the Group’s press service reports.

The Governor was accompanied by Deputy Governor Ruslan Gattarov, Chelyabinsk Region’s Economic Development Minister Tatiana Kuznetsova, Chelyabinsk Region’s Construction & Infrastructure Minister Viktor Tupikin, and a number of other officials. Visitors to the plant were shown all the main equipment at the pressing, welding, and thermal treatment departments, future product samples, and the modern metallurgical experts’ working conditions.

‘I see the company has great potential and quite a few technological advantages that will make its future produce highly competitive and highly profitable. Besides, 400 highly productive jobs will be created, not to mention more tax revenues for our budget. This is a great example of an import replacement effort and of a PPP project, as there are two strategic partners to it, the privately operated ChTPZ Group and the government-owned Rosnano,’ Dubrovsky said.
