UrBC, Chelyabinsk, December 4, 2015. ChTPZ Group shareholder and BOD Chairman, Deputy of Chelyabinsk Region Legislative Assembly Alexander Fedorov won the Delovoy Kvartal magazine’s Man of The Year Award for the second time in a row. The solemn awarding ceremony took place at the Congress & Exhibition Hall recently.

The prize, indicative of Fedorov’s success in large-scale improvements, of efficiency of his projects, and of his contribution to the company, the pipe-manufacturing industry, and Chelyabinsk Region’s development, was awarded by a group of experts comprising business community representatives, government officials, and member of the magazine’s editorial board.

‘I am grateful for this recognition. The award really belongs to the entire team of ChTPZ workers, true professionals and caring, conscientious workers. Our White Metallurgy projects are good for the entire constituency: we create new jobs, run corporate social responsibility projects, and have held Snezhnost, our annual charity event for children supported also by Chelyabinsk Region and Sverdlovsk Region Governors, for over a decade now,’ Fedorov said at the ceremony.

ChTPZ Group has been introducing White Metallurgy, the company’s new corporate philosophy with the highest labor and production standards, for five years now. A joint venture with Rosnano – a stamp-welded pipeline parts-making plant – is the fifth of the Group’s White Metallurgy projects which brought 6.6bn RUR worth of investments in Chelyabinsk Region and resulted in 500 new jobs in the area.
