UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 27, 2015. The interior jobs at Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s head plant’s new clinic, located in Dzerzhinsky District of Nizhniy Tagil, are nearly complete.

The company press service reports medical equipment is currently being assembled at the exam and operation rooms. A Turkish contractor is in charge of buying office and special-purpose furniture. The façade of the building and the surroundings are also being completed.

‘An X-ray imaging unit, a CT machine, an MRI scanner, a mammography unit, and other pieces of equipment will be installed in large and well-lit exam rooms. Doctors and nurses will undergo special training to operate the new machines,’ the press service says.

The clinic will also be fitted with a computer network, which will ensure easier data exchange and make the doctors’ work easier. A contract has already been signed with a software developer to get the special software for the system. Additionally, the medical data information system will make some things, such as scheduling appointments and opening hours as well as internal document turnover, automated.

An ad hoc smartphone app will be developed for the clinic, to make a doctor’s appointment and get one’s lab tests results. Besides, an appointment could be made with the help of an interactive kiosk in the reception area or online.
