Ural Locomotives celebrate five years in operation

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 10, 2015. Ural Locomotives (a member enterprise of Sinara Group) celebrated its five years in operation with Five-Year Success Plan, a set of festive events, the Group’s press service reports.

July 9, the final day of celebrations, was dedicated to Ural Locomotives’ museum/exhibition facility: special souvenir medals were laid in the foundation of the future museum’s first column in the course of a solemn ceremony. The museum will consists of several exhibition and conference halls, with artifacts, photographs, and documents describing the history of the plant all in one place.

Also, a memorable show will be presented in celebration of the special date.

Within these five years, Ural Locomotives have achieved quite a bit. For one, 503 Sinara locomotives, 123 Granit locos, and 12 Lastochka electric trains were produced. The first set of Lastochka high-speed trains was handed over to Russian Railways in June 2015.
