UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 3, 2015. Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant/ChTZ (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation) celebrated its 82nd anniversary on June 1, the corporation’s press service reports.

‘The company welcomed all sorts of visitors on this day, including plant workers, their children, long-service employees, and all those curious to see the plant ‘on the inside’, in places where you normally need a special pass to get into. It has been the company’s long-standing tradition for many years to invite locals to join in the celebrations. It is for a good reason that ChTZ is known as a family company, with plenty of families all of whose members are employed with the plant; children often follow in their parents’ footsteps and decide on the same workplace,’ the pres service says.

This year visitors to the plant could enjoy the traditional vehicle exhibition featuring historic, war-time tanks and modern developments such as the B10M.6100 tractor with a hexagonal cabin and protruded axle and the latest-generation B11 that will soon become the plant’s key product.
