March 11, 2015. Electromachine Scientific & Production Association (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) was issued a license by Chelyabinsk Region Education & Science Ministry; the license means the company is allowed to offer vocational training and issue diplomas.
According to the corporation’s press service, the company can now train students in twenty-six blue-collar specializations, including the jobs of an NPC mill operator, a mechanician, a turner, and a miller.
‘We have plenty of experience in the educational field: some 1,000 people undergo professional development training or re-training and can find a job at Electromachine every year. We needed to get a license because of the changes in the Federal Education Act,’ the press service explains.
The company says getting a training license for 26 specializations is just the beginning.
‘We also need a license allowing us to train staff in labor protection and fire safety and to train people to work as sling operators and electricians so that we can educate our cadre right on the site without external help and save money this way,’ says head of Electromachine HR Department Natalya Fersovitch.
