September 25, 2013. Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation’s Personnel Training Center is now offering educational services not only to the employees of the corporation’s head plant but also to the workers from the corporation’s daughter companies. Today, eight young employees from Transport Machine-Building Design Office, all of them in the 20-25 age group, are acquiring new qualifications of a turner, a miller, and an C machine operator, the corporation’s press service reports.
The center can boast a modern study/lab facility and employs highly skilled staff who have plenty of experience in training workers for different jobs; these staff actually designed a study plan for the Transport Machine-Building Design Office workers.
‘The educational process for these students from Omsk comprises a theoretical session and some practical training in operator, miller, and turner skills – as much as is prescribed by the program. Practical lessons take place at Uralvagonzavod Study/Production Department, where these young people can get some first-time practice with the tools, find out about how the machines are designed, learn about the equipment and the technological process of component parts treatment –all this with some help from an experienced, skilled worker. Production practice will take place at their home enterprise in Omsk, and, upon the completion of this part, students will be given special certificates,’ the press release says.
