December 11, 2014. Russia Arms Expo 2013, sponsored by Uralvagonzavod Corporation, won the Event of the Year Prize as B2B Event: the prize is awarded to the best business event for a company’s partners from adjacent sectors of industry.

According to the corporation’s press service, the weight of a particular event is assessed against the following criteria: flawless organization, attention to detail, a busy agenda, and the participants’ feedback.

The Event of the Year’s judges’ panel comprises representatives of major customer companies, respected cultural and political personalities, media celebrities, and reputed gurus in the entertainment and event management sector.

Russia Arms Expo uses a unique shooting range where the entire range of combat and operational properties arms and military vehicle have can be displayed at its best; it is possible to engage in precision shooting of targets of varying degrees of complexity and to assess the performance of military products in real-time mode. Last year, over 400 companies displayed their produce at the exhibition and representatives of defense ministries (defense ministers and chiefs of defense) of more than forty-five countries attended the event. The exhibition got over 20,000 visitors altogether.

Russia Arms EXPO 2015 will be held in Nizhniy Tagil Metal Testing Institute’s exhibition center on September 9-12. For four days, participants and visitors will be able to look at the newest achievements in the Russian defense industry and at the best samples of military vehicles from all over the world.

Uralvagonzavod Corporation is going to act the general sponsor of the event.
