Russia Arms EXPO-2013 Presented at IDEX

February 20, 2013. A group of delegates from Russia presented its Russia Arms EXPO-2013 (the 9th international arms, military vehicles, and ammunition exhibition to be held in Nizhniy Tagil on September 25-28) to the international experts and reporters at IDEX 2013. The exhibition is coordinated by Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation, Uralvagonzavod’s press service reports.
The presentation included featuring the Nizhniy Tagil show’s new logo, based on a diamond shape this time. This symbol actually has a special meaning in the military sphere and is used to designate a tank on the commanding officer’s map. Besides, the delegates made a presentation on their new website http://rae2013.ru, where everyone can get informed not only about the official news regarding the exhibition center but also about the terms and conditions for the fair participants.
Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation’s Director-General Oleg Sienko, Mayor of Nizhniy Tagil Sergey Nosov, and Deputy Director of Russia’s Federal Military & Technical Cooperation Service Vyacheslav Dzirkali invited all the presentation attendees to test the features and benefits of the Russia Arms EXPO-2013 Exhibition for themselves.
‘On behalf of the Russian Federation Government, I am happy to invite you to the Russian defense exhibition in Nizhniy Tagil. All the defense industry manufacturers will be able to present their achievements there as well as to network with their fellow producers. I also hope that this exhibition will prove another stage in consolidating the efforts of all the developers and producers of military vehicles,’ Dzirkali said.
‘As the event coordinators, we’ll try and cooperate with the Russian Government and with all the ministries and departments involved to give you a very hearty welcome and to do everything we can to make sure you have an opportunity to make a full-scale presentation of your products’ potential,’ Sienko pointed out.
The exhibition shooting range in Nizhniy Tagil is about 90km long and 24km wide and is actually one of the best in the world. Its infrastructure is unique in many ways, and many international visitors to the Russian arms exhibition have commented on this fact a number of times. At the moment, over 300 Russian enterprises and 20 foreign companies are regular participants. The fair is visited by some 40 foreign delegations every year. The coordinators’ main objective is to turn the RAE into a major international show, so the exhibition center is now under quite energetic construction.
