425,000 sq m of economy class housing to be put up in Sverdlovsk Region by July 1, 2017

September, 18, 2014. 425,000 sq m of economy class housing are expected to be built in Sverdlovsk Region by July 1, 2014, Sverdlovsk Region Prime Minister Denis Pasler announced at a videoconference meeting dedicated to the national project on Housing for Young Families; the meeting was chaired by Russia’s Construction Minister Mikhail Men.

‘Sverdlovsk Region Government decided on the core projects for the implementation of the national program: the projected Istoksky District in Yekaterinburg (150,000 sq m of housing), the Village of Canal in Pervouralsk (150,000 sq m), the Village of Golden Fields in Degtyarsk (25,000 sq m), and Silver-Fir Mountains District in Nizhniy Tagil (100,000 sq m). In October, an agreement on the provision of all the infrastructure facilities for the economy class housing is expected to be signed with Russian Ministry for Construction and Communal Housing Services,’ Governor of Sverdlovsk Region’s Information Department quotes Denis Pasler as saying.
