Uralvagonzavod Corporation gets 14 carriage makes certified

August 29, 2014. Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation got fourteen of its railway carriage makes and products certified for Federal Railway Transport safety requirements in July and August 2014.
According to the corporation’s press service, nine certificates out of fourteen were issued for the company’s series-produced models and five certificates were issued for brand new goods. The holding is now allowed both to launch series production of the new products and to sell them to customers.
The new safety compliance certificates were issued for the specialized eight-wheel platforms 13-198-02, for the pilot batch of 750 tank cars 15-588-01 meant for transportation of liquefied petroleum gases, and for the pilot batch of 1,000 hoppers 19-5153 meant for transportation of loose cargo. Besides, certificates were also issued for front draft lugs (drawing 5158.01.02.055-0) and a pilot batch of 10,000 truck bolsters (drawing 555.00.012-0).
