July 16, 2014. ChTZ-Uraltrac (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation) became one of the stopping points en route of an expedition that began in Vladivostok on June 12. The primary aim of this motor rally is to increase awareness of the achievements and problems of this immense country from the Far East to the Crimea, the corporation's press service reports.
'Rally participants, including young United People's Front activists from Moscow, Pskov, and Vladivostok, were accompanied by the corporation's Chelyabinsk partners – heads of the Front's Chelyabinsk division Denis Ryzhiy, Valeriy Shagiyev, and Natalia Kustova and by one of the leaders of In Protection of the Man of Labor Movement and ChTZ employee Vladimir Druzhkov. During their stop at the plant, the rally participants paid a visit to the plant vehicle exhibition that features models ranging from the very first diesel engine C-65 tractor to the newest TMV-2, the traction module that was only launched in production a few months ago. Visitors posed eagerly for shots against the backdrop of tanks dating back to the Great Patriotic War and enormous bulldozers,' the press service says.
Says head of United People Front's Chelyabinsk division Denis Ryzhiy:
'Including Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant into our Russia 2014 Rally route was no coincidence: the plant has been the symbol of the Southern Urals' industrial might for a long time now. We were shown today that the company has a clear vision of how to achieve the results it wants. And if something doesn't quite work out, our People's Front is always there to help.'
