Uralvagonzavod employees win the Cherepanovs Prize

July 14, 2014. The annual Cherepanovs Regional Social Fund Prize awarding ceremony took place on the second day of the Innoprom 2014 Exhibition. This year, seventeen nominees won the prestigious award. Four of them are actually employed with Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation, the company's press service reports.
The prize was given to the leading energy expert from the corporation's head plant Georgy Bedrik, director of Uralvagonzavod's subsidiary Volchansky Mechanical Plant Vladimir Brusov, deputy senior designer of UKBV Alexander Pranov, and head of UNTK Automation Department Alexei Rabek.
The diplomas and medals were awarded to the deserving workers by Sverdlovsk Region Prime Minister Denis Pasler.
'You represent the Urals' engineering corps, one of the country's most powerful and highly skilled unions. You prove these power and skills with your industriousness and highly responsible attitude. The future of the country depends greatly on specialists like you, for qualified workers are today's primary production resource. It is an honor to be able to give this medal to each of you,' Prime Minister said in his speech.
Denis Pasler also pointed out that there were quite a few young specialists among the prize-winners, which meant the Urals' engineering sector was bound for dynamic development and success.
