Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s team wins in WorldSkills Hi Tech

November 6, 2014. The team of Uralvagonzavod Corporation performed well at the first national blue-collar jobs championship for the hi tech industries sector WorldSkills Hi Tech, the corporation’s press service reports.
Kirill Borodin of Uraltransmash (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) won the third prize in the Welding Technologies category. The representatives of the corporation’s head plant proved No.1 team in Techno Breakthrough, an engineering skills championship. The plant’s employees also proved the strongest in Design Documentation (Yuri Samoilov), Production Technology (Irina Bakshayeva), and Strength Analysis (Sergey Malyushkin). Uraltransmash’s Vladimir Ragozin won in the Original Idea category.
Every day, Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s representatives talked about the key issues in the professional development of hi tech industry, tertiary sector, and social sector’s workers during the WorldSkills business events.
A round table discussion Uralvagonzavod Corporation coordinated on highly skilled workers as the cornerstone of an industrial enterprise’s competitiveness proved one of the highlights of the championship. The discussion was moderated by Svetlana Ivanilova, the corporation’s Deputy DG for Human Resources.
