Russia-Belgium football match to be broadcast live in Mayakovsky Park fan zone

June 19, 2014. Yekaterinburg-based football supporters will be able to enjoy a live broadcast of the Russia-Belgium game on June 22: the game will be broadcast in the fan zone in Mayakovsky Park, Yekaterinburg Council’s press service reports.
The FIFA International Supporters Festival 2014 Yekaterinburg coordinators are planning on improving the fan zone navigation by installing additional information signs that will help visitors find the fan zone and by expanding the range of food items available for purchase in the food court.
On the day of the match, Soviet Sport Show will begin on the fan zone stage at 8PM.
‘Besides, on this day locals will be able to contribute to the history of football by adding one of the pieces to a gigantic puzzle. This flash mob thing is called ‘Let’s Put History Together’, Portraits of the best FIFA players of all times will serve as the pieces of the puzzle,’ the press service says.
