June 17, 2014. Three Mundial 2014 games will be broadcast in Yekaterinburg’s fan zone this weekend. According to the city council’s press service, the event coordinators also prepared some entertainment for the supporters as well.

On Friday, June 20, an extreme activities day will start at 8PM. Spectators will be treated to parkour, free running, and tricking shows.

‘Renowned Russian athletes, winners of many titles, will join the event. Visitors to the shows will be able to take part in all sorts of contests and join the Fat Football match. There are two more things waiting in store for the spectators – a stunt show and Versus, an acrobatic laser show,’ the council reports.

Right after the shows are over, the Costa Rica-Italy game broadcast will begin at 10PM sharp, followed by the broadcast of the Switzerland-France game at 1PM.

On June 22, the Russian national team is going to play against that of Belgium. At 8PM, shortly before the game begins, the Soviet Sport show will be run in the fan zone.

The International FIFA Supporters Festival 2014 in Yekaterinburg is an official event centered around live broadcasting of World Football Championship matches between June 12 and July 13, 2014; the event is supported by Yekaterinburg Council.
