June 5, 2014. Electromachine (a Chelyabinsk-based member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) is now commissioning five different units. The jobs will be implemented within the framework of a large-scale technical improvements program the company runs, Uralvagonzavod’s press service reports.
An up-to-date milling processing center DAHLIH MCV-1020 is being installed at the mechanical department. It will primarily be used for making pilot batches of new products and will make it possible to considerably increase the existing milling capacity of the enterprise.
A selective soldering unit will appear in the assembly department. This modern equipment will allow the company to fully enjoy the benefits of soldering surface elements (speedier assembly, no need for lead preforming, etc) when making printed boards with various components. It will also make it possible to do some selective welding of parts in a piece that has already been put together. Besides, another similar unit will have been bought by the end of this year. This means the company will get a section that is fully fitted with up-to-date equipment.
Making pilot batches involves some bulkier items such as the PVKU-24 with the outer diameter of some 400mm. To process these, a new, spacious drying box was imported from the Czech Republic. It will be installed at the mechanical assembly department; this piece of equipment is operated through micro-controllers and has a temperature-setting function.
