PNTZ celebrates Defender of the Fatherland’s Day

February 24, 2014. Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ) congratulates its current workers and long-service employees on the upcoming holiday. The solemn festivities will include some concerts, a tennis tournament, and sports competitions for students of the Future of White Metallurgy Program and soldiers of Gorny Shchit Military Unit. Special bonuses will be paid to 135 former participants in local wars who are currently employed at PNTZ, the enterprise’s press service reports.
‘Bonuses on the Defender of the Fatherland’s Day is the company’s annual tradition. Local war veterans work at PNTZ as locomotive drivers, mechanics, turners, and riggers doing important jobs. We are proud of being able to show our respect for the people who protected our Fatherland,’ says PNTZ Managing Director Alexander Belenkov.
‘Two concerts will be given at PNTZ Palace of Culture: Contingent, a group of peacekeeping soldiers, and a creative dance studio will perform for the male employees of PNTZ. Besides, one of the stages of the company tennis tournament will be dedicated to the holiday,’ the company reports.
