February 20, 2014. The vehicles produced by Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation) contributed significantly to the fact that the sports players, supporters, and visitors to the grand sports show were nice and comfortable at the winter Olympics in Sochi, Uralvagonzavod's press service reports.

The tractors helped to complete all the large-scale construction jobs on time and finish up with all the infrastructure that is necessary for holding such high-profile events. All in all, 55 bulldozers of different makes were supplied to the Olympic construction site over the last five years, says the Director of the plant's Krasnodar Territory dealer OOO TechService-ChTZ Nikolai Platov. Given the fleet of Ural vehicles already there, the final count of bulldozers employed for the Olympic building jobs is actually much higher.

ChTZ bulldozers were used in Imeretinskaya Lowlands, where most of the Olympics facilities such as Adler Arena were built. They were employed for preparing construction sites for the buildings that became part of the Sochi Olympics site.
