ChTPZ, PNTZ direct 34m RUR to employee training in 2013

January 21, 2014. Some 10,500 employees of Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant (ChTPZ) and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ) were trained by their companies in 2013, the enterprise’s press service reports.
Approximately 6,850 blue-collar workers and over 3,600 white-collar ones and managers were able to enhance their professional skills at the Russian educational establishments, at the enterprises’ company training facilities, and at ChTPZ Group’s company Training Center in Pervouralsk that has the most advanced mill simulators, lab units, and classroom simulators.
In 2013, the Group implemented a professional development program for the top managers and the candidate pool. Managers and workers were given a number of trainings and seminars to build up on their skills and competences. Receiving a second qualification such as the crane operator, a pipe cutter, a welder, a repair technician, and a rigger was the most large-scale program for last year. Nearly 2,000 workers of the pipe-manufacturing plants received new qualifications.
