UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 12, 2016. Over 10,000 workers from Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (member enterprises of ChTPZ Group) underwent professional development training (fully covered by the company) last year, the Group’s press service reports. Some 30m RUR were directed for the purpose.

4,082 employees (managers as well as white- and blue-collar workers) underwent the training, most of which was related to industrial, radiation, and environmental safety and labor protection for steeplejacks and related jobs. Also, 6,234 workers obtained their first, second, or interdisciplinary qualifications, mainly those of a crane operator, sling operator, pipe cutter, ferrous metal quality control technician, metal sorter, mill operator, boilmaker, nondestructive testing operator, and heat treatment operator.

‘Every year, the Group offers its employees a full-scale professional development program customized to suit the company’s needs; our staff get trained and retrained both at our own Training Center in Pervouralsk and external educational establishments,’ says ChTPZ Group’s HR Director Svetlana Kuzminykh.
