Over 10,000 Workers Undergo Training Programs at ChTPZ in 2012

January 21, 2013. About 11,000 ChTPZ workers underwent professional training programs in 2012. This figure included 4,000 managers and white-collar workers and about 7,000 blue-collar workers. 1,550 managers and over 4,000 blue-collar workers were actually the ones employed at Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant, the company’s press service reports.

It is announced that the most popular programs are the ones aimed at retraining or versatility training as well as professional development courses. The most popular jobs are: metal sorter, strapper, repairman, and pipe-cutter. Depending on the type of program, the training can last from one day to one month.

Last year, several hundred employees of Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant benefitted from the training programs coordinated at the company educational center fitted with special machinery simulators produced by the German company Festo and the Italian company Prosoft; each simulator cost between 5 and 30m RUR. The center can also boast the most advanced pipe and metallurgical equipment. Among the training programs offered are those related to hydraulic servos and automated hydraulic systems, motor drives, pneumatic machinery and automated pneumatic devices, and some others.
