ChTPZ Group awards Yakov Osadchiy fellowships

October 30, 2013. Yakov Osadchiy fellowships were awarded at Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant (ChTPZ) today. Four straight A grad school students of South Ural State University – Kirill Andreyev, Yuri Afonin, Yuri Bezgans, and Anatoliy Kuznetsov will be receiving this special ChTZP stipend that amounts to 1,500 RUR, the company's press service says.

ChTPZ Group established the fellowships in 2001, in the year of Yakov P. Osadchiy's 100th birthday, and has been awarding them to gifted Engineering students of two Moscow-based colleges and one Urals-based one every year. This year, the awarding ceremony took place in the company's hi tech LDP department called Vysota 239. The participants of the company's special program called The Future of White Metallurgy joined the awarding ceremony as well.

'Education is one of the most vital issues for ChTPZ Group. We understand that tangible progress and great competitiveness can only be achieved through modern technologies and the launch of new equipment. We need competent, thinking people who are dedicated to their calling. I am positive there are some people here who will come to work for the company soon, prepared to devote themselves to the pipe-rolling profession and to join the advanced projects in the field of Russian 'white metallurgy',' ChTPZ BOD Chairman Alexander Fedorov said when awarding the students.
